Lincoln Children's Museum

Wow. I started this post over a month and a half ago. But here's to finishing it. While we were in Nebraska for Kendall's last business trip I took the kids to the Lincoln Children's Museum. We were there for 6 hours! We got there about 10:00 and didn't leave until after 4:00. The kids were really tired, but had so much fun that it was totally worth it. They had the most amazing things. Here are a few of the pictures.

The kids loved the huge chair.
This picture with Kendall gives a better perspective of how huge this chair was.
In the Space Exploration area on the moon rover.
Avrianna Astronaut.
I loved these little stools. They were super cute. I bet Daddy could make us some just like these. :)
The giant Connect Four was a big hit. Sadie couldn't reach very well, but this kept Talmage busy for a LONG time!

The agriculture center has this big tractor the kids could sit in.

It also had a garden complete with vegetables to plant, shovels and hoes.

The Pizzeria was another favorite.

They had a nice little quiet reading center. Sadie made herself right at home.
Mom tried her hand at face painting. Talmage wanted a tiger and this was the best I could come up with.
Avri wanted an "A for Avri" on one cheek...
and a rainbow on the other cheek.
Talmage had a frog at first, but when we washed our hands he decided to wash off the frog as well. Too bad. It looked better than the tiger.
This is all Sadie wanted to sit through.
This is the cute little face painting booth. They had a couple of these. The kids felt like little movie stars.
Playing in the water,
and on the boat.
Daddy met us there after work and enjoyed himself as well.
Another huge chair. It's not very often that Kendall looks little.
This Museum was totally awesome. If we lived nearby it we would definitely get a season pass. If you are ever in Lincoln I would highly recommend it!
