Surgery
Last Friday I had my surgery. They made 3 incisions in my abdomen that are only about an inch long and filled my abdomen with carbon dioxide so that they could see everything easily. They went in laparoscopicly and removed the IUD which had embedded itself in some tissue between my uterus and ovary. It left a little hole which they said should heal very quickly. The worst part of recovery was the pain that the carbon dioxide causes. It manifests itself in your shoulders and chest and sometimes spasms making it impossible to breathe. But that is mostly over now and I'm just waiting for the incisions to heal. So it was a successful surgery and now I can recover and get my body back! Hurray!! Thanks for all of your prayers and thoughts!

I'm so glad you are okay, and that things can get back to normal!
Also, congrats to your little (big!) preschooler Avri! She will love it.
I'm so glad everything went alright!!!
And way to go Avri! I'm sure you will both love preschool!
Holy Cow! That is so crazy! I'm glad to hear you are healing well.
Good to hear that the surgery went well!
Glad to hear it went good. I know exactly what pain you're talking about. When I had my gallbladder taken out the same thing happened to me! But I'm glad it's over and you're starting to feel better. :-)

Holy cow girl! Bless your heart. I'm glad everything went well. Hooray for cute little Avri and preschool! Yeah, that sounds like an awesome preschool to me!
I am glad that all went well and it sounds like Kendall took pretty good care of you.
I'm glad the mystery has been solved and that it's all over now. You can get your body back just in time to get pregnant again! :) Just kidding. Must be scary to think about actually deciding to have a baby though. You haven't done that in a long time. Not that your thinking about it now. Hope you feel normal soon!
Oh, it's good they found it and there wasn't too much damage. I'm glad you're doing okay. We're thinking of you!
oh that sounds awful! I'm sorry you had to have surgery but I'm glad you are feeling better. And even though I haven't had a surgery like that after 2 c-sections including one where my incision reopened and had to heal on it's own I think I can say "I feel your pain!"
