This is how we've spent the last week...Wearing pjs, messy hair, stickers from the doctor's office stuck all over us, looking a little sleepy. We're really looking forward to the warm weather and all that it brings. We've been pretty lucky this winter and haven't spent that much time being sick, but it's hit us pretty good this last week. Hopefully we are almost through it.
Because of the sickness we really haven't done much. I'm nearing the end of my first trimester and the sickness and tiredness has been breaking up a little bit. I don't have to take a nap EVERY day and I might even get a couple of days where I'm not sick. So that is definitely positive. Lots to look forward to.
We do have one addition to the household that I'm excited about. Here she is...
She looks a little empty right now, but come summer when we are harvesting all the food from the garden...OOOOH! I can't wait! I'm so excited to have a place to put my frozen dinners and the broccoli from the garden and everything else. I'm glad Kendall talked me into the upright. ;)
Oh, and as a side note, Avri got her stitches out on Friday and it looks AMAZING! Usually the scar would be bright purple right now, but it is a very light pink. The doctor saved the stitches for her and wrapped them up so she could bring them home and show everyone. Funny old man. :) The doctor was really surprised at how quickly she was healing and he thinks that 6 months from now you won't even see it. I'm relieved. I wondered if I should have asked for the plastic surgeon to come in to do the stitching, so I'm glad that I made a good choice and that she won't have a deformed smile for the rest of her life. haha.

When my brother got stitches, he also got to bring them home. They were put in a bag and for some reason, my mom put them with the rest of the bags... I then later made my lunch and poured some M&M's into this bag (not knowing it was the stitches bag) and come lunch time... yup you guessed it. I ATE THE STITCHES! Luckily I pulled them out and threw them away but talk about GROSS!!!
Way exciting about your freezer though! She's beautiful. I think your sickness has spread to us... Brooke is now throwing up and has diarrhea... COME ON SPRING!
I think spring can't come soon enough when kids are in the mix! I love your upright freezer! So nice! You already have it so organized and stocked!! :) We're glad Avri's recovery is going good! She's SO cute as are all the other members of the Kendall and Melissa Clan!!:)
Ooooh, spring. Can't even tell you how much I personally can't wait. We also have been lucky and not had too much sickness this winter. Then I made the big fat mistake of mentioning that out loud last week. Let's just say that the stomach flu at 33 weeks pregnant is not something I ever want to repeat! And I will try to be positive and not remind you of all the fun you actually have to look forward to. Enjoy that second trimester and so jealous that your nausea is actually going away ;)
Oh and P.S. Doesn't sound like you'll need it but mederma for kids is AWESOME for scars.
That freezer is super impressive. I am also impressed you even have any food to put in it! I struggle to get enough food into one fridge to feed a family!
